There are 22 other Urban Debate Leagues in the country: Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Memphis, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York, Newark,Oakland, Rhode Island, San Francisco, St. Louis, and Washington D.C.

Our program, Debate-Inspired Classrooms, brings argumentation into the classroom during the school day, boosting students’ skills in finding evidence to back up claims.

Over 720 public school students from the Boston area participated in a Boston Debate League tournament last year.
