Students from Northeastern University competed alongside students from the Boston Debate League in a public debate on school bullying on November 30th. Congratulations to Maria Rodriguez from East Boston High School and Christopher Richardson from Northeastern for their victory. They received 20 out of 29 votes arguing that schools were the most appropriate venue to tackle School Bullying. Jose Nova from PATH and Spencer Coopchik from Northeastern finished second, arguing that the government was most responsible, and Aissaca Barry from English High School and Nicholas Fei from Northeastern finished third, arguing that parents were the most responsible.
