Harvard debaters Ralph Paone and Leo Zimmerman receive accolades for their help during the institute awards ceremony. Ralph, working under a summer fellowship from Harvard, conceived the idea for the camp, solicited donations of money and food, helped plan the curriculum, and taught at the camp. He also recruited Leo Zimmerman as a volunteer for the week. Leo thought he was signing up to teach debate, but he spent much of his time fighting Boston's notorious traffic to deliver food to hungry debaters!
