“Boston Debate League is one of the best non-profits to provide learning for all participants in the room.  At a time where divisiveness is evident in all kinds of policy proposals, this league allows young children to develop their skills, learn the different sides of a proposal, and catch arguments that can be exploited to defend their own arguments. It amazes me how much these kids grow and improve after judges provide feedback.” Ryan J Hayes, Corporate Volunteer

Getting involved with the Boston Debate League won’t just change a student’s life, it will change yours!

The Boston Debate League relies heavily on individuals and organizations to lend their time, talent and treasures to ensure debate is accessible and attainable to Boston’s public middle and high school students. Volunteers fill vital roles throughout the year.  No prior debate experience is required, and virtually any level of commitment can be accommodated.

Join us. Whether you’re able to make a donation,  volunteer as a judge, serve on a committee or sponsor an event your contribution to urban debate will have a powerful effect on local students, schools, and our community.

Do you have other ideas about how you want to be involved? Contact us!  With your help, Boston’s young people will find their voices through debate.

On October 26th, the Boston Debate League celebrated its 10-Year Anniversary with a celebratory event.
