The J.B. Fuqua Novice National Championships
Chris Walker and Mai Hoang of Charlestown High School were invited to represent the Boston Debate League at the J.B. Fuqua Novice National Championships and Urban Debate League Celebration at Pace Academy in Atlanta. After seven rounds of tough competition against a field of debaters from thirteen other UDL's around the country, they finished with a very impressive 4-3 record.
